Participation as “Watchful Concierges” in the 6th Refugee and Migrant Festival

On May 11, 2025, TAWARA Cristóbal Kojiro, an attorney at our office, participated in the 6th Refugee and Migrant Festival as a “Watchful Concierge”.

Maki Kanai, one of the event’s organizers, described the festival’s spirit as follows: people of all nationalities and residency statuses come together to sing, eat, and laugh. She remarked, “The Refugee and Migrant Festival is a way of experiencing, just for one day, the future we want to create.”

At this year’s festival, volunteer lawyers participated as “Watchful Concierges” to help maintain the peaceful atmosphere of the event through dialogue and explanation.
